Encounter with Stephen Miller
A staffer for Sen. Jeff Sessions, later identified as Stephen Miller, reached out to me for a meeting about a dozen years ago.
We met at a coffee shop, where he pitched an idea: liberals who care about American workers should join forces with immigration restrictionists.
Fewer immigrants, he contended, would mean more jobs available for American citizens.
At the time, I had no idea what he would become.
