Fatal Three-Car Collision in Co Kilkenny
A man in his 40s has died in a three-car road traffic collision in Co Kilkenny.
The collision occurred on the N10 at Templemartin, Co Kilkenny, shortly before 4:30pm on Saturday.
- The driver and sole occupant of one of the cars involved, a man in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
- A man and woman travelling in the second car were taken to St. Luke's Hospital, their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
- The occupants of the third vehicle did not require immediate hospital treatment.
A full forensic collision investigation will be carried out by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
The N10 is currently closed in both directions from the junction at Exit 8 of the M9 to the Hebron Road roundabout, with local diversions in place overnight.
