Tamworth Teacher to Remain in Custody
A teacher accused of sexually assaulting a boy near Tamworth will remain behind bars as his case has been adjourned again.
Bradley Van Praag faces nine child sex and abuse charges in Tamworth court. His case was mentioned in Tamworth Local Court on Wednesday, October 15, but he did not appear.
Magnitude Brender told the court that the defence had requested an adjournment, citing that they had not yet had a case conference with prosecutors.
"There's an email here... Which says they haven't had a case conference, can they adjourn for three weeks."
This is the second time Van Praag's case has been delayed. His defence solicitor also did not appear in court.
