Solomon Named Big South Preseason Player of the Year

UNC Asheville’s Toyaz Solomon has been named the Preseason Player of the Year by the Big South Conference.

Solomon was the only Bulldog to start all 32 games last season, serving as one of UNC Asheville's most consistent and impactful performers.

Notable career-best outings include 24 points against North Florida, 15 rebounds at Central Arkansas, six assists versus Longwood, and six blocks against UNCW.

Toyaz Solomon proved to be a force on both ends of the floor last season.
