WTA Rankings Update: Winners and Losers at Wuhan Open
Aryna Sabalenka secured the year-end No 1 spot in the WTA Rankings despite missing out on a four-peat at the Wuhan Open.
Sabalenka held off Iga Swiatek, while Coco Gauff improved her chances of becoming the American No 1. Sabalenka's streak was ended by Jessica Pegula in the semi-final.
Aryna Sabalenka did enough to win the year-end No 1 WTA Ranking battle with Iga Swiatek.
