Ethan Hawke, 54, has been in the film industry for 40 years, since his debut alongside River Phoenix in The Explorers.
He has won acclaim and four Academy Award nominations for his creative roles, including actor, screenwriter, director, producer, documentarian, and novelist.
New Movie: Blue Moon
In his new movie Blue Moon, Hawke portrays lyricist Lorenz Hart, who was part of the legendary songwriting team of Rodgers & Hart.
He says he couldn’t have pulled off this role in his younger years.
This is his ninth collaboration with filmmaker Richard Linklater.
