First Death from New Coronavirus Reported in China
Health authorities in Wuhan, a central Chinese city, have reported the country's first death from a new type of coronavirus, stirring fears of an outbreak similar to the deadly SARS virus.
A 61-year-old man, who was hospitalized with shortness of breath and severe pneumonia, was the first to die from the virus.

The Wuhan Municipal Health Commission said the new type of coronavirus was "preliminarily determined" as the cause of the pneumonia cases.
