UK Leads Polar Climate Change Research
The UK's flagship polar research vessel, RRS Sir David Attenborough, is set to depart for Antarctica to support various climate change research projects.
Operated by the British Antarctic Survey (BAS), the vessel will aid in studying glacier melt, whale populations, and other climate-related topics.

BAS oceanographer Peter Davis expressed disappointment that the United States is withdrawing from scientific exploration in the region.
