Frost and Freeze Alerts in NCWV
Frost and Freeze alerts have been issued across all of NCWV. A dry cold front passed over the area yesterday, resulting in high temperatures in the low to mid 60s in the lowlands and mid 50s in the mountains.
Low temperatures for tonight are expected to reach the mid 30s in the lowlands and low 30s in Davis and Elkins. The National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory for several counties, including NW Webster, Upshur, Barbour, Taylor, NW Preston, Monongalia, Marion, Harrison, Lewis, Braxton, Gilmer, Ritchie, and Doddridge Counties, effective until 9:00 AM EST tomorrow.

Temperatures are expected to drop as low as 33°F, resulting in frost formation. Both the Frost Advisory and Freeze Warning will last until 9:00 AM EST tomorrow.
