Almansa Sets New Lap Record in Australia
David Almansa of Leopard Racing secured the top spot on Friday at the Liqui Moly Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix with a new lap record of 1:34.726.
Almansa's teammates Adrian Fernandez and Red Bull KTM Ajo's Alvaro Carpe completed the top three. Angel Piqueras of FRINSA – MT Helmets – MSI came in fourth after improving in the closing stages, while Joel Kelso of LEVELUP – MTA took fifth place.
