TGI Fridays has closed its second Richmond-area location in less than three months. The casual restaurant chain closed its restaurant at White Oak Village.
The closure follows the recent closing of the chain’s location in western Henrico, on West Broad Street, near the Interstate 64-Glenside Drive interchange.
The property at 4459 S. Laburnum Ave. is slated for redevelopment, with plans to convert the existing restaurant building into two commercial spaces, one 2,600 square feet and the other nearly 4,000 square feet.
According to plans filed with the county this summer, the existing restaurant building will be converted into two commercial spaces.
The future of the Broad Street spot remains unclear.
