A 45-year-old man, David Gray, has been banned from driving after pleading guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol.
Gray, from a rural property near Banff, admitted to driving with 46 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the limit of 22mcg in 100ml.
The court heard that Gray had been out with a friend before deciding to drive.
Fiscal deputy Kirsty Martin presented the case at Banff Sheriff Court.
