BYD Recall Affects Over 115,000 Vehicles
BYD has launched a recall of more than 115,000 vehicles due to component design issues, following a probe by China's State Administration for Market Regulation.
- 44,535 Tang-series vehicles produced between March 2015 and July 2017 are being recalled due to design flaws in specific components.
- 71,248 Yuan Pro electric cars built from February 2021 to August 2022 are being recalled over manufacturing issues linked to battery installation.
Component design issues and manufacturing problems are the reasons for the recall.
