Three more suspects have been arrested in connection to a robbery, home invasion, and attempted kidnapping of an Amish child in Middlefield Township.
Two suspects, William Hatfield, 44, and Randall Cromer, 36, were taken into custody on October 15 and face first-degree felony charges of kidnapping, with more charges forthcoming, according to Geauga County Sheriff Scott Hildenbrand.
A fourth man, Ricky Martin, 43, was arrested on October 16 in Bainbridge Township and faces a first-degree felony charge for complicity to commit aggravated robbery.
Officials said the suspects held an Amish man's 8-year-old son hostage while ransacking his home in search of money.
