Alberta Introduces New Licence Plates with "Strong and Free" Motto
Alberta is upgrading its licence plates to feature the motto "strong and free".
Premier Danielle Smith and Minister Dale Nally announced that Albertans can participate in an online vote to choose the final design from eight options, showcasing Alberta's landscapes and symbols.
The transition cost is estimated to be between $25,000 to $50,000, according to Minister Nally.
Albertans will be able to take part in a “tournament-style” online vote to choose the final licence plate design.
