Hell at the Masquerade kicked off their October lineup with Sextile, an electronic “bass punk” duo.
Their performance was intoxicating, with flashing lights, breath-hitching bass drops, and arms bouncing in every direction.
Before Sextile, Automatic, a trio, played songs from their new album, “Is It Now?”, getting the crowd loose for the headliners.
Automatic’s sound is lighter and softer than Sextile’s, but still engaging.
The night was electric and intoxicating.
Author’s summary: Sextile’s bass punk energizes the crowd.
