Daylight Saving Time: A Persistent Tradition
Despite the collective frustration, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware are among the states that must switch to daylight saving time.
The time change is not affected by the government shutdown, as citizens can adjust their clocks without needing approval or annual budgets.
It’s already Fall, which means it’s that time of year when it’s dark by 6:00 p.m.
The Uniform Time Act of 1966 remains in effect, and it seems that both state and federal governments are unwilling to abandon this twice-yearly time change.
