When a job offer fell through, Emily Lynch, a graduate of the Arkansas Tech University-Ozark cardiac sonography program, took the setback in stride and landed a job at one of the top hospitals in the nation.

Lynch's interest in cardiac sonography began when she accompanied her mom to cardiology appointments. She recalled,
Something clicked. For the first time in my life, I felt a sense of purpose for my career.
Lynch enrolled in the cardiac sonography program at Arkansas Tech-Ozark in 2024, describing it as
one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life.
