Colman Domingo Joins the Cast of 'Wicked: For Good'
Colman Domingo will voice the Cowardly Lion in the highly anticipated musical sequel "Wicked: For Good".
The actor announced the news on his Instagram on Monday, putting an end to fan speculation that had been sparked by director Jon M. Chu's tease of a significant name behind the character.
Domingo is certainly a fine fit for the role, and his involvement is expected to add to the excitement surrounding the film.
"Wicked" and "Wicked: For Good" were shot back-to-back as one giant production, adapting the smash hit Broadway musical into two movies. The first film grossed over $756 million worldwide and earned 10 Oscar nominations and two wins.
