Developers Share Funding To Create Innovative Video Games
Twelve Wales-based game development studios will share more than £580,000 to develop innovative video games and immersive experiences for commercial release.
The funding, via Creative Wales’ Games Development Fund, offers £10,000 to £50,000 per project, aiming to bring fresh gaming concepts to market with robust market strategies.
The programme supports businesses in achieving self-sustaining growth and long-term commercial success, with recipients based in locations from Caernarfon to Pembrokeshire, creating content such as quests set in rural mountains, virtual reality experiences, and Welsh mythology-inspired adventures.
The idea is to bring new creative concepts to market.
