Election Day: Voting Information
On election day, Edmontonians will head to the polls to elect their next mayor and council. To help, an election guide has been created to determine your ward and find your polling station by inputting your address.
To be eligible to vote in Edmonton's municipal election, you must be 18 years old or older, a Canadian citizen, living in Edmonton on election day, and have that location listed as your place of residence.
- Show identification at the voting station, such as an Alberta driver's licence or another form of authorized identification.
- Voting stations are open from 9am to 8pm.
- Those who missed the online registration deadline can still register or update information at their assigned voting station.
