The Illinois Department of Insurance has filed a lawsuit against State Farm to obtain property insurance market data.

According to Abe Scarr, program director for energy and utilities at the Illinois Public Interest Research Group (PIRG), the Illinois Department of Insurance lacks enforcement power.
