Celtic's sporting director has been told that Sebastian Tounekti, one of the team's new recruits, is a player who is "needed" in the English Premier League.
Tounekti's former manager at Norwegian second-tier side Ranheim, Ingebrigtsen, now the team's sporting director, has praised the Celtic winger, saying he has the potential to play in bigger and better leagues around the world.
"I sent him a message when he went from Hammarby to Celtic, congratulating him on the move."
Ingebrigtsen's comments come after Tounekti has made just 10 appearances for Celtic, but has already become the team's standout player this season.
Celtic's summer transfer business saw the addition of several talented players, including Benjamin Nygren and Marcelo Saracchi, to the first team.
