Possible Mountain Lion Sighting in North Laredo Park
Officials are warning the public to avoid the North Central Park area in north Laredo after a possible mountain lion sighting was reported on Tuesday night.
According to District Six Laredo City Council Member Dr. Tyler King, the Laredo Animal Care Service staff are aware of the situation and are working with Texas Parks and Wildlife to investigate.
King asked the public to stay away from the park or stay indoors if they are near the area.
The Laredo Police Department is also investigating the sighting, but has not commented on the matter until more information is available.
