Canvas Outage Disrupts Students' Classwork Amid Midterm Season

A widespread Amazon Web Services (AWS) server error caused a disruption to the schoolwide Canvas platform, lasting nearly 15 hours.
The outage began around 3:00 a.m. and lasted until around 6:00 p.m., blocking students from accessing assignments and class materials.
