Everybody Resists: David Byrne Brings Subversive Love To Philadelphia On No Kings Day [Review/Photos]

David Byrne Brings Subversive Love To Philadelphia

David Byrne attended the Philadelphia No Kings march before his final 'Who Is The Sky?' show at The Met.

His new album's opening track, "Everybody Laughs", showcases his unique perspective on life, using the word "everybody" to convey inclusivity.

Everybody lives, dies, laughs, cries, sleeps and stares at the ceiling. Everybody's wearing everybody else's shoes, which not everybody does, but I have done.

Byrne's use of "everybody" gives an anthropological view of life in New York, highlighting the shared human experiences.

Author's summary: David Byrne's music promotes inclusivity and shared human experiences.
