The city's economic arm had a busy and successful 2024, with economic momentum building in Greater Sudbury.
During a council meeting, Richard Picard, chair of the board, stated:
For the community economic development fund, we approved just under $1.1 million across multiple projects in 2024. These investments were able to leverage an additional $2.4 million in funding and supported initiatives that reflect council’s goals, including economic resilience, innovation and community well-being.
