A new UK series, Ketchup, is set to explore cultural clashes, expat misadventures, and illusions of life abroad.
Described as a cross between Benidorm, Cheers, and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the show will resonate with expats who come to Spain seeking sunshine and sangria, only to find a different reality.
Starring and directed by Kevin McNally, known for Pirates of the Caribbean, Life on Mars, and The Crown, filming began this autumn.
McNally is joined by Sandra Dickinson, who played Trillian in the 1981 BBC series The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
