Kerala Rain Alert
An orange alert has been issued for 5 northern Kerala districts, warning of very heavy rain and strong winds.

Overnight storms have caused tree falls and power disruptions across northern districts.
Temperatures range from 24°C to 30°C with 85% humidity, and wind speeds may reach 40-50 kmph.
The IMD has advised fishermen not to venture into the sea along the Kerala, Karnataka, and Lakshadweep coasts from October 23-27, 2025.
A low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal is expected to intensify rainfall through October 27.
