The Utah Mammoth's hot streak was put to the test on the road in St. Louis, and they delivered with a 7-4 win over the St. Louis Blues.
Logan Cooley led the team with a natural hat trick, scoring three consecutive goals in the opening 10 minutes of the first period. Clayton Keller added two more goals to secure the win.
"It's nice to contribute,"
Cooley said, reacting to his performance and the reaction from his teammates. This marks the second hat trick of the season for Utah, following Nick Schmaltz's on Oct. 17 against San Jose, and the second three-goal performance of Cooley's NHL career.
