Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts has sent a clear message to his young outfielder ahead of the World Series.
The Dodgers have one of the oldest rosters in baseball, but 24-year-old Andy Pages is one of their starting outfielders. Despite his youth, Pages' inexperience has been apparent throughout the postseason.
In the National League Championship Series, Pages hit .182 against the Milwaukee Brewers' pitching staff, with a considerably worse batting average in the Wild Card Series and NL Division Series.
"Yeah, we were just talking about some approach stuff at the bat,"
Manager Dave Roberts said, addressing the media in Toronto about his conversation with Pages during the team's workout.
