Cowboys' Owner Jerry Jones Considered Hiring Super Bowl-Winning Coach

The Cowboys, led by first-year head coach Brian Schottenheimer, will face the Denver Broncos, coached by Sean Payton, in a Week 8 matchup.

"He was never there when we needed to be thinking about making a change. The timing never fit,"

Jones said during his weekly radio appearance with 105.3 The Fan.
