Thailand's Queen Mother Sirikit passed away on 24 October 2025, as announced by the Thai Royal Household bureau.
Nordic Embassies in Thailand and individuals expressed their condolences to the Thai Royal family. Queen Sirikit and her husband, HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej, strengthened friendships with Nordic Royal families during their reign.
