Minister of Education Celebrates Mawuli School's 75th Anniversary
The 75th Anniversary of Mawuli School was marked by a memorable address from Minister of Education, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu.
He underscored the importance of student-centred education and practical, skills-based learning in Ghana, stating that
the student must remain at the heart of national education policy.
The Minister highlighted that the curriculum is being revised to incorporate artificial intelligence, coding, and electronics, aiming to prepare young Ghanaians for a rapidly evolving technological world.
He also emphasized the role of discipline, integrity, and character formation in schools, citing the need to maintain high standards and
not tolerate indiscipline in our schools, including cases where teachers abuse learners.
Additionally, Minister Iddrisu cut the sod for new dormitories at the school.
