Toys for Tots Program Returns to Help Local Children
The Marine Corps Reserve's Toys for Tots Program is once again giving back to Buchanan County, seeking toy donations to distribute to children for Christmas.
"The main thing that they want is toys from seven dollars to fifteen dollars, unwrapped, brand new toys,"
said Vietnam Veteran and Program Coordinator Don Crigger. Last year, the program distributed 2,803 toys to 1,851 local kids.
- Toys can be donated at various drop sites around Buchanan County until December.
- A toy drop-off site is located at News-Press NOW, 805 Edmond St.
- Donations can be made between 10 a.m. at News-Press NOW.
