FatBoy Zine is a unique blend of a personal cookbook, cultural diary, and mini magazine.
“It used to be all of me, it was directed entirely by my thoughts, taste, and words. But since inviting more people in, it’s become shared. Now it’s like an end of school notebook you get everyone to sign.”
Creator Christopher O’Leary, born in Hong Kong and having lived in the Philippines, Liverpool, and London, brings a diverse cultural perspective to the zine. After suffering the loss of a close family member, Christopher started writing to remember recipes they had made, using grief as a catalyst to create something positive.
