Canadian Lobbyists Represent Major Polluters and Environmental Groups
A recent report by FMinus reveals a conflict of interest in Canada's climate action, with lobbyists representing both major polluters and environmental groups.
Major Canadian environmental organizations and civil society groups are using lobbyists who also represent big polluters, according to the report.
The report was published in conjunction with Environmental Defence and re•generation, a youth climate advocacy organization.
“As the climate crisis gets worse for Canadians, there’s a hidden cause,”said James Browning, founder and executive director of FMinus.
This report highlights the need for transparency in lobbying practices.
