Tiger Attack in Bennegere Village
A 54-year-old man, Rajashekar, was killed by a tiger while grazing his cattle in Bennegere village, near Mulluru in Saragur taluk.
The incident occurred yesterday morning, leaving the villagers fear-gripped and demanding that officials control the menace of wild animals.
The area has a wild growth of bushes on hundreds of acres of land, making it a perfect shelter for wild animals, near the Bandipur Tiger Reserve.
The villagers have demanded that officials take action to control the wild animal menace.
The victim, Rajashekar, was a resident of Bennegere village.
