Space scientists are calling on lab-based chemists to help understand exoplanets.
A stronger collaboration between researchers studying Earth's and other planets' atmospheres, as well as between experimental, modeling, and observational communities, is necessary to interpret the available astronomical data.
According to experts, including Winiberg, an experimental photochemist, and Laura Kreidberg, an exoplanet astronomer, this collaboration will facilitate a better understanding of exoplanets.

Authors include Winiberg from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology, and Laura Kreidberg from the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy, as well as Moses, a planetary and exoplanet atmospheric chemist.
