Kassie O’Brien and Brooklyn DeLeye Bring Home SEC Awards

Freshman setter Kassie O’Brien was named the Southeastern Conference’s overall Player of the Week and SEC Setter of the Week, and outside hitter Brooklyn DeLeye was named the SEC’s Offensive Player of the Week.

O’Brien broke the school record for most assists by a single player in a three-set match with a 50-assist performance at Alabama. The previous record was held by Madison Lilley, who had 48 assists in a three-set win over Dayton in 2018.

O’Brien averaged 13 assists per set.
