Better Weather Ahead
After a windy and wet Sunday, sunshine and dry weather will return to the WCCB Charlotte viewing area by Monday.
A coastal storm brought gusty winds and scattered showers to the area, with winds gusting past 30mph in the Queen City. However, conditions will improve overnight as rain becomes more isolated and winds die down.
By Monday morning, the area will be dry, with sunshine returning and highs reaching the upper 70s in the Piedmont and mid 60s in the High Country.
A quiet week is expected, with highs staying in the upper 70s and lows in the lower 50s through Wednesday. A backdoor cold front may bring cooler temperatures by Thursday, with lows potentially dropping into the 40s in Charlotte by Friday morning.
No rain is expected with the cold front.
