A Jamaican woman, stranded in Myrtle Beach, is worried about her family's safety as they prepare for the storm.
"I am very worried,"
she said, expressing her distress at being unable to be with her family during this time. Her family in Cave Valley has lost electricity and is running out of cellphone battery.
Moultin is grateful for the support of her church family and the compassion shown by the Myrtle Beach community, who took a moment to pray for Jamaica.
She advised her daughter to stay indoors and take necessary precautions, saying
"He boarded up some of the windows and basically that's it,"
