Etsy Names New CEO
Kruti Patel Goyal will replace Josh Silverman as Etsy's CEO by the end of the year.
Silverman, who led the company for eight years, will become executive chairman. Goyal, formerly the CEO of Depop, has been Etsy's president and chief growth officer for seven months.

- Etsy acquired Depop four years ago.
- In the third quarter, active buyers on Etsy fell 5% to 86.6 million.
Etsy may be looking to Goyal's experience to help revive growth.
