Deutz-Fahr Introduces Lane Assist and Other Safety Functions for Tractors
Deutz-Fahr will introduce new safety technologies, including Lane Assist, at Agritechnica, where they were awarded a Silver Innovation Medal for their TAG system (Tractor Assisted Guidance).
The TAG system brings automotive-style safety functions, such as Lane Assist and adaptive cruise control, to the agricultural sector. Developed with Stereolabs, a company specialized in camera and sensor technology, the system uses advanced cameras and software to recognize depth, shape, and object movement.
- Lane Assist: keeps the tractor in the correct lane
- Detection of nearby people: issues a warning signal when they come too close
