Before the puck dropped at the inaugural Jamie Bramburger Fall Classic, fans heard the late broadcaster’s iconic goal calls ring out.
The charity game matchup between the Pembroke Lumber Kings Alumni and a team of Algonquin College teachers and staff brought nearly 800 people to the PMC for a night of goals, memories, and giving back.
The alumni skated away with a 15–10 victory, but the biggest win was the more than $10,000 raised for local causes.
“Saturday night was a tremendous success both on and off the ice,”
said Jerry Novack, an organizing committee member and player for the teachers and staff team.
