New SMA and RP-SMA FT Connectors from Cliff Electronics
Cliff Electronics has introduced its new range of FeedThrough (FT) connectors, the CP30260 series, which includes SMA and RP-SMA (reverse-polarity SMA) female-to-female connectors.
These connectors provide fast and easy assembly, eliminating the need for soldering to connect equipment to external signals. They feature a standard impedance of 50Ω and a frequency range of up to 18GHz, with a secure, low-loss threaded connection.
The new connectors are suitable for various applications, including:
- RF communication systems (Wi-Fi, LTE, GPS)
- Telecom
- Broadcast
- AV equipment
- Aerospace and defence electronics
- Microwave systems and antennas
- RF signal routing and test equipment
The connectors are gold-plated with a Teflon insulator and have an operating temperature range of -30°C to +80°C. They are available in industry-standard XLR shells or the compact DualSLIM frame, ideal for equipment with limited panel space.
No soldering is necessary to connect equipment to external signals.
