Nathan McSweeney has scored his first Sheffield Shield century for South Australia, giving his team hope of a win against Western Australia.
McSweeney's 103, along with Henry Hunt's 84, helped South Australia reach 4-297 at stumps on day three, leading WA by 205.
McSweeney was thrown into the deep end and asked to move up and open against India last summer
After being dropped from the Test side in December, McSweeney has been solid without being spectacular, but his recent performance has been a significant contribution to his team's fightback.
