Canada's Summer Tourism Numbers Reach All-Time High

Canada's tourism sector has generated a record-breaking revenue of $59 billion between May and August, a six per cent increase compared to the same period last year.

The surge in tourism numbers is driven by strong domestic and international travellers, with domestic tourism up seven per cent and revenue from international travellers increasing by 10 per cent.

International events, such as the G7 summit held in Kananaskis Country, Alberta, have contributed to the growth in tourism.
