Hamilton Police Frustrated with Magic Mushroom Scofflaws

Police are finding the penalties for operating illegal magic mushroom shops to be an insufficient deterrent.

A recent example is the raid and shutdown of a notorious psilocybin shop at 1353 Main Street East in Hamilton.

This shop, known as Shroomyz, was previously targeted by an arsonist in September, where two suspects smashed the front window and gained entry to the shop.

No comment from the police on the current situation.
