Police Staff Pay Award Announced
UNISON police staff members in England and Cymru have voted to accept the 2025 pay offer by an overwhelming majority.
- Nearly half of all eligible UNISON police staff members participated in the ballot.
- Unite and GMB police staff members also voted to accept the pay offer.
The agreed pay award for police staff in England and Cymru will be backdated to 1 September.
Local UNISON branches will confirm when the pay rise will be implemented, which may be in November or December.
UNISON hopes that police forces can implement the pay rise as soon as possible.
